Grimwade House: McGlashan and Everist Studio

I always say that you guys are the best! In fact I found this house thanks to one of you that follows Mid Century Home on Facebook -Itsso Retro- and I could not resist…I had to publish it!

The Grimwade House is a mid century architecture made of five interconnected pavilions that integrate perfectly into the landscape. The architects are specialized into building houses that fully respect and integrate their architecture with the environment and landscape. One of the main pillars of mid century modern architecture.

The materials used for the house are natural, warm and simple ones like the terracotta-tile floors, fly-screened breezeways with a flat Vermiculite ceiling.
