The Peiffer Residence: A Mid Century Modern Gem in Iowa.

The Architect Leo Peiffer built the house for himself in 1963 bringing his mid century modern principles to a Midwestern environment.

The building structure is formed by interlinked cubic volumes on a one-acre big lot with a challenging drop from front to back.

This mid century modern beauty includes an upper level consisting of a rectangular living space and dining area overlooking a tree-filled view through a big glass wall. At the same level are the bedrooms with glass doors and the kitchen communicating with an also glass-surrounded patio.
