I already posted on Facebook some twentieth century architecture icons photographed by Grant Mudford, and today I spotted these amazing pics about Rudolph Schindler’s works.
Mudford made a great job portraying these Schindler buildings and interiors and I hope you will enjoy them.
Schindler was born in Vienna where lived, studied and started his career before moving to California in the early 1900.
His career developed in parallel with his friend and colleague Richard Neutra with whom shared also some clients and the working space for a while.
Schindler is considered one of the founder of the Californian modernism where he designed several buildings and contributed to create an original a new architectural style that is still today identified as Californian Architecture.
