Moving into an Eichler home last year was a dream come true for Amanda. With a third child on the way, her and her husband needed to upscale, but wanted something special.
It is sometimes difficult to have a modernist house really integrate with its surroundings.
This is especially so if the house is set in an area listed in the National Register of Historic Places, as is the case with the Mohle Drive Residence, situated in Central Austin.
In 1950, the December issue of the magazine Architectural Forum featured a โBuilderโs House of the Yearโ. It was designed by the architect A. Quincy Jones.
