Part-Time Copywriter

IMPORTANT: Ideally you are a freelancer able to dedicate at least 6-8h/week (might increase over time) of your time to this role. We will give priority to candidates based in Europe but if your profile looks interesting, we might contact you as well if you are outside Europe.

Who we are:

Mid-Century Home is the online magazine dedicated to midcentury modern and modernist residential architecture. Our mission is to inspire people with architecture and design heavily influenced by modernism.

We are a small team but capable of reaching a broad audience looking for a specific architecture and interior design aesthetic to replicate in their homes.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Copywriter preferably with previous experience writing about architecture and/or interior design. 

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Excellent written English
• Writing and editing daily articles: 3-6 min per week, approx. 500 words each (articles will be paid on a fix amount per word)
  
• Able to respect tight deadlines
  
• Must be organised and able to work on own initiative
• Good historical knowledge and real passion for the mid century modern design period and its social background including architecture, design and their protagonists: designers, architects, manufacturers and/or key figures that influenced the aesthetics of the period, will be considered a plus
