The Eames LCW Plywood Chair

In 1941, the New York Museum of Modern Art opened a design competition named: โ€˜Organic Design in Home Furnishingsโ€™. The competitionโ€™s main goal was to find new ideas which were aimed at improving the mid-century interiors. Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen together achieved two 1st positions within the furniture category.
