I want to repaint our front door. It’s currently school bus yellow which doesn’t look great. Any suggestions for a new shade?

We recently bought a 1956 home. Thankfully, a lot of the house has original finishings. All of the doors in the house match, but this one has a dent in it. I don’t know if there is any way to fix it or make it look better.
