The brief for this home was to create a family friendly, relaxed house that fully embraced and engaged with its incredible natural surroundings.
This family retreat nestles against a river, which forms the north and west perimeter of an 18-acre wooded property that features dramatic mountain views to the north through a veil of cottonwood trees.
The idea for this project was to create a modern design at home in its surroundings with a โnatural easeโ. This home would provide a comfortable, low-maintenance getaway to help focus on enjoying family time and the surrounding environment.
