Each home is chosen for its architectural clarity, connection to nature, and timeless design. Beyond showcasing beauty, we share the stories behind the buildings—the architects, the owners, and the ideas that shaped them. Our goal is to inspire appreciation, preserve the spirit of mid-century modernism, and encourage a new generation to build with purpose, restraint, and integrity.

This newly-restored mid-century home, designed in 1953 by Paul Hayden Kirk, is a real beauty.

Located in Seattle, it was recently renovated by architects Tom Kundig of Olson Kundig.
