Should I go for a bright kitchen backsplash?

I am really struggling! I need to pick a kitchen backsplash color. I really love green but I’m worried I will grow tired of it. BUT if I choose white or gray and accent it with color I feel like a chicken.

Has anyone chose a bright color and regretted it?

Our facebook group had a lot to say about this question. There were hundreds of comments and the overall answer was a resounding no! Most people don’t choose a bright color and regret it and nearly all of our members love their bright colored backsplashes. Lots of members thought that unless you are planning to sell the home soon that you should definitely go with a bright color. Many members shared their own photos and advised on colors, wood, stoves, light, and much, more more.

This idea was also floated: “This is the last backslash I did. It came in a brick pattern on sheets. I removed them and stacked them. I wasn’t sure of my tile choice until I found the correct pattern also.”

Finally, this member shared their own idea: “White mosaic tiles with a brown fleck, then a splash of orange. If we get sick of the orange we can easily change it!”
