Has anyone done terrazzo countertops in a kitchen remodel? My designer is suggesting it and I’m not opposed but would be interested in some opinions about it.

Our MCM house has quite a lot of wood paneling and I love it. The problem being is that it’s really dried out. Any ideas on restoring it?

We bought our dream 1950s MCM ranch. The tile is in great condition, but the shower is an issue. Previous owner tried to do the epoxy base, but it was peeling.

This is our basement of our 1960 multilevel home. Recently we removed carpet, that was old and used by all our boys. My question is the stairs…any ideas on fun things to do with them?

Should we modernize with clear glass around the shower or rebuild with new glass block?

Has anyone removed or replaced insulation in their tongue and groove ceiling without removing the boards? We recently bought a house in Canada and would like to increase the insulation R value. We would really like to keep the ceiling as-is but also have it be cost-effective.

I have done tons of research regarding midcentury paint colors. I chose pink. The chair rail was put up over 10 years ago and will ruin the hollow core door and cement walls if I try to take it down now. What do you think?
