Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and creative Editorial Assistant to join our team. This role involves sourcing inspiring content, liaising with professionals, managing social media presence, and ensuring consistent and engaging editorial output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new architecture and design projects across platforms such as Bowerbird, Instagram, Facebook, magazines, and direct submissions.
- Engage in professional communication with architects, designers, and homeowners regarding project features.
- Maintain and update the editorial calendar in collaboration with the editorial team.
- Create and publish articles on WordPress
- Manage social media accounts: schedule posts, create stories and reels, engage with the audience, respond to comments and messages.
- Design, prepare, and dispatch two newsletters per week.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Proactive, able to independently take initiative and make decisions aligned with editorial guidelines.
- Creative thinker, able to bring innovative ideas to content and social media strategies.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
