Looking for plant recommendations

I’m looking for a plant for this corner of the room which doesn’t have a window, but gets some light from the atrium. Any recommendations?

  • “Room is gorgeous. What about a snake plant?”
  • A split leaf philodendron should do well there, they like a lot of indirect light. I had several in my Eichler and they loved it.
  • “Maroon. Something that picks up the Fiddle leaf fig, beautiful big green leaves – we have ours in a similar area – when it gets too tall, we cut it back and it continues to grow, have done this twice.”
  • A dracena? They like bright indirect light.
  • “Snake plant, pothos, ponytail palm, Money tree, philodendron, all thrive in those conditions.”
  • “Fiddle leaf fig! They’re like goldfish, so keep your planter choice in mind!”
  • The “ZZ” plant is very low maintenance and is beautiful. Of course, Sanseveria, or snake plant is traditional for mid century homes. Very easy.”
  • “I first noticed the ZZ plant 18 years ago at the Northwestern hospital complexes in Chicago. They were beautiful and took my mind off of the process of surviving breast cancer. It took a while before I found out what they were, but now I have at least 5 of them, as they hold special meaning for me.
  • “Dracaena or pencil cactus.”
