- “You should do what you like but I disagree that the yellow doesn’t look great. It does. Blue doesn’t go with the warm tones of the brick and roof. I think a salmony color will recede too much. If you must change the yellow maybe think about a burnt orange or picking up some of the brick red tones in the roof.”
- “The roof colors are the key. A burnt orange would pull it all together.”
- “I love the yellow. It brings out the color in the brick too.”
- “It highlights your door, so no one misses it and in general it’s good Feng Shui.”
- “Find a color that works well with the brick. My guess would be a green would work but you could try everything from avocado to grass to find the best shade.”
- “Wow I would not paint the frame white, especially before you pick the door color. But no matter I can’t imagine white being a good option.”
- “I think a salmon-pink will clash. The brick ranges from off-white to buff to almost a tan. Orangey-rusty will work. So will teal-blueish. It’s whether you want more of an analogous or complementary scheme.”
- “I agree the yellow doesn’t work. Try something like a rich dark teal for contrast. The yellow looks like you are trying for a beach theme, which doesn’t work with the house theme/style.”
